I played a pivotal role in creating By a Thread: Nature’s Resilience, the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum’s main featured exhibit of the year. Built from scratch, we drew on every available asset including collections, art, science resources, and museum programs along with immersive experiences like a virtual butterfly room and an infinity room in collaboration with Visual Feeder. I worked with scientists, educators, and museum professionals to develop concepts, write content, design layouts, create illustrations, and produce assets. I then handled all printing, installation, ID labels, instructional signage, and educational drawings.

On the marketing side, I created a full suite of promotional materials including digital graphics for social media, email campaigns, and donation fundraisers, as well as merchandise such as t-shirts and stickers. I also designed print advertisements to promote the exhibit beyond the museum walls. Completed in under a year with a very reduced budget, this project showcased the team’s creativity and my ability to deliver cohesive, engaging experiences across both exhibit and marketing platforms.
